- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 300ml (1.25 cups) hot water
Method
- Prepare the oven and pan:
- Preheat oven to 160°C fan / 350°F
- Grease a 26cm x 20cm (10″ x 8″) deep cake tin
- Make the flax egg:
- Mix ground flaxseed with 2 tbsp water and set aside
- Prepare the batter:
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl
- Add melted butter, milk, vanilla, and flax egg
